Sprintbit File Manager for Windows ME/2000/XP/Vista is a fully featured application for viewing and managing files on your computer. You can perform all standard file operations like copying, moving, renaming, deleting, creating folders, shortcuts or new empty files. It has several File Managers with multiple browsers that supports Drag & Drop operation with the mouse or direct copy, move operation between them. You can copy multiple files to a several folder at once by use special Multi Copy & Move tool or Multiple File Manger. View selected file contents or detailed information about file by use of built-in File Viewer. File Viewer recognizes a lot of file types, and it will show you the contents of any text file type, play audio or video, view playlist, show pictures, browse web pages and view any file that can be viewed by Internet Explorer or Excel. You can also scrub files, delete files, print documents and graphics, run all files and documents, registering ocx and dll. File Manager includes following utilities: CD-DVD Writer, which can write CD-Audio and Data - Joliet/ ISO9660 discs in the fly, supports Burn-Proof technology with use of high write speeds, multisession disc, ISO files export and import. You can copy CD audio tracks. FTP Client for transferring files to and from server. Archiver for creating and extracting ZIP GZIP archives, Picture Viewer with Picture Editor. Mass File Renamer let you make all file names with the identical format, set any file name format, use predefined presets, remove unnecessary characters, change the file extension, translate words. Folder Synchronizer, Link Validator for validating LNK and PIF links, Search & Replace for replacing specified files with the one source file. Encrypt & Decrypt tool supports most known encryption algorithms, File Searcher, Split - Merge, Join Files, File Attributes and more. Fully configurable interface allow you to change colors, fonts, skins, layout, view files with different view styles.

Complex multifunction software. Does everything except a few of the essentials. For example, the copy function should have a "copy or move only new files" option. The synchronize command is sometimes inappropriate. Add that function to a copy command for an entire directory, and I'll buy a copy of Sprintbit. It needs a simple two pane tree mode for basic file management functions in addition to all of the other modes. Other than that, great software.
